Grand Jury Records Unsealed in High-Profile Epstein Investigation

Previously sealed grand jury records connected to the investigation of Ghislaine Maxwell have been officially released by a U.S. federal judge, opening a rare window into testimony surrounding the late Jeffrey Epstein and the inner workings of his private operations.

The documents, which remained hidden for years due to grand jury secrecy rules, were made public after a judge concluded the legal need for confidentiality had ended following Maxwell’s conviction.

Inside Maxwell’s Testimony

According to the newly released transcripts, Maxwell told investigators that her primary responsibility centered on managing Epstein’s residential properties and household operations. She described overseeing staff such as house managers and gardeners, while also assisting with travel and scheduling matters.

Maxwell confirmed that she had been romantically involved with Epstein for a limited period before transitioning into what she described as a purely professional relationship. Despite the change, she characterized Epstein as both a close personal friend and a financial supporter.

Recruitment of Women for Massages

A significant portion of the testimony dealt with the recruitment of women for massage appointments at Epstein’s homes. Maxwell reportedly stated that she sought individuals who were physically attractive, often students or those pursuing careers in modeling.

She acknowledged being aware that some of these massage sessions could become sexual in nature. Although she claimed to believe the women were adults, she admitted under oath that she did not verify their ages through identification. Payments, she said, were often made in cash following the appointments.

Daily Operations at Palm Beach Estate

Maxwell also outlined what she described as a regular rotation system in which multiple women would visit Epstein’s property in Palm Beach for scheduled massages. Some days reportedly involved more than one appointment. She testified that she was responsible for coordinating travel arrangements and handling compensation linked to these visits.

Encounters With Public Figures

During questioning, Maxwell referenced interactions with several well-known political figures. She stated that she had met Donald Trump at the private club but said she never witnessed him involved in any massage-related activity tied to Epstein’s circle.

Financial Support and Payments

The records indicate that Epstein paid Maxwell a regular salary for her work. In addition, she testified that he provided financial assistance to certain women, including covering education expenses and sending money to their families.

Legal Outcome and Broader Context

The grand jury that heard this testimony was examining potential federal criminal violations, though no charges were filed at that stage. Years later, Maxwell was convicted on multiple federal charges related to trafficking and abuse and is currently serving her prison sentence.

Epstein himself was later arrested on federal charges but died in custody in 2019 while awaiting trial.

The release of these documents marks a significant development in one of the most scrutinized criminal investigations of the past decade, offering new insight into the structure, finances, and daily activities tied to Epstein’s network.
